It may be the "dead period" of the NFL offseason, but the Saints were still forced to make a roster move today.

Cornerback Kyle Wilson was placed on the reserve/injured list today according to Saints GM Mickey Loomis.

Wilson was placed on season ending IR after tearing a labrum in his shoulder.

With the open roster spot, the Saints signed defensive tackle C.T. Wilson.

The 6'3, 290 lb. Wilson broke into the league in 2010 as a 7th round pick by the Green Bay Packers.

He has played for Green Bay, Detroit and Oakland over his 6 seasons in the league.

In his career, Wilson has accumulated 150 tackles, 6.5 sacks and won a Super Bowl Championship his rookie year with the Packers.
