One woman has been hospitalized following a collision with country singer Sammy Kershaw's bus over the weekend.

Following a performance in Nocona, Texas on Friday (Nov. 2), Kershaw and his band and crew were traveling at a high speed down the interstate when they were struck by another vehicle. The impact caused major damage to the driver's automobile, as well as to the singer's bus. The driver of the vehicle that hit Kershaw’s bus was taken to hospital with injuries, while Kershaw, his band and his crew were shaken and sore, but not seriously injured.

Nearly a dozen motorists were involved in the wreck, but thankfully, no one was killed.

“My guys and I are a little sore today," Kershaw said in a statement. "The third day is always the worst. Eleven people were involved in the accident, and no one was killed. It could have gone the other way. Buses and cars can be replaced, but people can’t. I’m so thankful that the other driver, my band and crew are all still here. We had a guardian angel."

Kershaw has not since canceled any concerts as a result of the accident and will use alternate methods of transportation until his bus is repaired. The singer's latest Christmas album, 'A Sammy Klaus Christmas,' hit stores last month.
