She’s How Old? Barbie Celebrates a Birthday!

If you don't count her physical proportions, Barbie, the iconic toy, has been a role model for millions of young women around the world. I remember my sister Linda had a whole case of Barbies. She even had Skipper and PJ and a couple of other dolls that used to send off on extraordinary adventures. Barbie, a great girl and a good friend for many celebrates today. How many "jobs" has barbie had? Take a guess, it's more than you think!

Each Barbie cost $3 in 1959, and her outfits sold for $1 to $5 each. Since her debut, Barbie has had well over 100 jobs, including astronaut, model and others.
