Police in Antioch, Tennessee, outside of Nashville, were called to the Hickory Hollow Carmike Movie Theater today, after a report of a shooter was called in around 1:15pm, during a screening of the film Mad Max.

From the Hollywood Reporter: 'A spokesperson for the Nashville Fire Department said three patients were treated for pepper spray exposure. One of three treated was also treated for a "superficial wound" that "could have been caused by a hatchet." The injury was described further as "not much more than a bad bruise." No deaths reported.'

The suspect, who was reported to be a middle aged  man, allegedly had a hatchet in addition to a gun, and was killed by police at the scene.
