Want to play baseball for Tony Robichaux and the Ragin' Cajuns? Coach Robe and his staff want to see what you got.

The Ragin' Cajuns are hosting a Baseball Showcase Camp on August 20th at M.L. Tigue Moore Field, and they're looking for talent. Coach Robe and his staff are always searching for recruits and future players, so a good showing on the field could be the first step to a bright future at UL. He finds players at these camps all the time, so why can't it be you or somebody you know?

It only takes a second to register online, and the $125 fee gets you more than a chance to audition in front of the one of the best coaching staffs in the country. Here's the opportunity all high school players, freshmen to seniors, receive if they sign up for the camp (direct quote from university website).

All position players will take part in a 60 yard sprint for time, a defensive session where skills will be evaluated along with arm strength, and batting practice.  Following lunch, pitchers will be asked to throw to hitters in a controlled game.  Pitchers will be on a strict pitch count.  Dual players (pitcher/position players) will be allowed to do both skills, however it is important to do your best at the position you are the most effective.

The recruiting process has to start somewhere. In order to get a scholarship, you have to get noticed first. Who wants to get noticed on August 20th? Put me in coach...
