Sinead O’Connor’s Marriage Over After 18 Days

Move over Kenny Chesney and Reneé Zellweger. Your 225 days of marital bliss has nothing on Sinead O'Connor.

The singer announced yesterday that she has split after just 18 days of marriage with her fourth husband Barry Herridge.

O'Connor knew the marriage was doomed from the get-go. A statement on her website read, "within three hours of the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behavior of certain people in my husband's life."

She went on to say that Herrige is a "wonderful man" but that "he has been terribly unhappy and I have therefore ended the marriage."

Just weird.

But then again this is the same woman who burned a picture of the Pope on national television.
