The cool crisp temperatures of this early morning have gotten me to thinking. It won't be too long until it will be actually cold. I know cold is relative term down here in the deep south but anything below 50 degrees is cold. There are a lot of you that love cold weather and enjoy eating hot gumbo at the camp on a brisk evening.Me, I will take the gumbo but you can have the cold.

The cold also brings out the skiers. I see no point in sliding out of control on ice down a mountain side. Mountains were made for brewing beer, not for attempting life threatening feats of stupidity. Ok, I must confess, I have never been snow skiing in my life, but if I did. It would probably end up looking like this.
