Southside High in Youngsville Reveals Mascot and School Colors

The new Southside High School in Youngsville has unveiled its school colors along with their mascot.

Wait for it...

The school mascot will be the Sharks! (Doesn't that seem like something out of a '90s Nickelodeon teen show?)

The other mascots in the running were believed to be Bobcats and Eagles.

The school's spirit colors will be teal, navy blue and silver. I do think those colors are a pretty nice combination.

Construction of the school is expected be in time for the 2017-2018 school year.

I'll gladly volunteer to be the mascot!
