Spring has almost sprung, and you can definetly celebrate Daylight Savings Time this Saturday, March 12, at Vermilonville's annual Spring Celebration! This is a fun, family event, with an emphasis on the traditional Cajun Easter celebration.

Some of the events include a natural egg dyeing demonstration, sweet dough tart cooking, prettiest egg contest, pâquer tournament, spoon races, and historical games. And an awesome Cajun Jam will be held with some of our finest local musicians. The schedule of events is below:

Admission is $5 for adults, and free for kids under 3. You get $1 off for being a Vermilionville member, and also get $1 off admission for bringing a hard boiled egg. Donations of hard boiled eggs will also be accepted! Get ready for Easter and enjoy a beautiful day at one of Lafayette's most historic locations!
