Lt. Clay Higgins is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old girl from St. Landry Parish.

From KATC -

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for the public's help in order to find a missing 17-year-old female.

Alexandria Davis cut off her court-ordered ankle bracelet and left her home in February of 2015. There are reports that Davis was recently observed at Lipstick night-club around that time. Davis' family members desperately want her back home safe and sound, but as of now, detectives have been unable to find her.

Sheriff Bobby Guidroz commented

"Our entire effort in this case is to get Alexandria back home to her family. To think of a 17-year-old girl from our parish out there in that world of drugs and erotic dancing is frightening. As a father, I feel her family's pain and I want her home. As Sheriff, I need her to know… Alexandria, if you're reading this or see it on the news, please listen to me… just call us or walk up to any police officer anywhere and identify yourself. You will be protected and treated with respect. We want you home and safe. You don't have to live in that nightmare, just let us help you."
