States With the Best and Worst Drivers

A lot of us spent some time on the roads over the holiday weekend. No doubt you got to deal with some idiot drivers. They're just abound like that. But do you get to deal with them 365 days a year?

A new study ranked all 50 states' drivers from the best to worst. They used factors like fatalities rate per 100 million miles driven, the percentage of fatal crashes that involved things like speeding and alcohol, and bike and pedestrian deaths.

So, I guess these aren't just bad drivers, they're the ones who are most likely to kill you.

The states with the worst drivers are as follows:

1. Montana (by a pretty big margin)
2. New Mexico
3. South Carolina
4. Texas
5. Louisiana
6. Arizona
7. Hawaii
8. North Dakota
9. Delaware
10. Mississippi

The 10 states with the best drivers are:

1. Minnesota
2. Ohio
3. Vermont
4. Iowa
5. Nebraska
6. Virginia
7. New Jersey
8. Washington
9. Utah
10. Michigan
