The convenience store, it is a staple of our life here in Acadiana. We can pop in for a cold drink, a bag of chips, some boudin and cracklin and in most places one of the best plate lunches you will ever eat. Many of these stores have extraordinary security measures in place that you and I can't see. Sure we can see the tape measure on the exit door and the video cameras in the corner.

We know the clerk can't open the safe and God forbid you have a bill bigger than a $20. We tend to look at security measures like this as normal, but just wait until you see what you have to go through to get a cold drink in Russia. I am guessing this place would only get robbed if you showed up in a tank.
