Adult film star Stormy Daniels has more legal issues to worry about.

Michael Avenatti, Daniels' lawyer, has confirmed to NBC News that the porn star was arrested during a strip club performance at an Ohio strip club after being "touched in a non-sexual manner while on stage." In Ohio, a law known as the Community Defense act prohibits "anyone who isn't a family member to touch a nude or semi-nude dancer."

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office confirmed Daniels was arrested and charged.

Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, has claimed she had an affair with President Donald Trump and is suing the commander in chief. Her lawyer says she was busted by undercover vice officers at Sirens Gentlemen's Club but is confident she will be cleared on all charges.

NBC says Daniels is still cooperating with federal investigators as part of their criminal investigation into President Donald Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen.

Cohen has said he made the payment. In May, Trump said Daniels was paid to stop "false and extortionist accusations" she made about a sexual encounter with him. Trump has forcefully denied the affair.

The porn star is adamant that she had sex with President Trump in 2006 and was paid $130,000 by Michael Cohen to stay quiet before the presidential election. The president has vehemently denied the affair.

Daniels is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
