Sturgill Simpson has released the music video for "All Around You," just a few days following his performance of the song at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 12).

The "All Around You" video was directed by Matt Mahurin, who also created Simpson's recent "In Bloom" and "Brace for Impact (Live a Little)" clips; viewers who have seen those music videos will recognize some of the imagery in, not to mention the look and feel of, the "All Around You" video. Simpson's newest clip follows a young boy, dressed in a superhero cape and mask, who finds a heart-shaped ring ... but it's no ordinary ring; rather, it acts as a compass and a guide.

As the boy journeys along throughout the "All Around You" music video, the ring grows bigger and bigger, until he arrives at the ultimate quest: a shadowy, faceless man in a white shirt, red tie and dark suit (who, it's safe to say, resembles President Donald Trump). Superboy's ring smashes through a bordering wall, and people of all ages, sizes and abilities walk through the heart-shaped opening as Simpson sings, "There will be days / When the sun won't shine / When it seems like the whole world is against you / Don't be afraid / Life is unkind / You can let go of the pain if you choose to."

At the 2017 Grammy Awards, the singer-songwriter won Best Country Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards, for A Sailor's Guide to Earth, the record on which "All Around You" appears. He is currently gearing up for a 2017 tour, which runs from springtime until early October.
