Summer Ice Cream Shortage?

OK, here in south Louisiana, we love our ice cream. I mean, it's HOT here, and we are in full blown summer already! We're hearing that ice cream is possibly experiencing a shortage in some parts of the USA-WHAT? That's almost un American!. It couldn't come at a worse time of year, but next month's closing of  Good Humor's Hagerstown manufacturing plant is limiting their ability to supply ice cream trucks with Toasted Almond, Candy Center Crunch and Chocolate Eclair bars. Good thing I have my own homemade ice cream maker!
