Lafayette Parish Superintendent Dr. Donald Aguillard has appointed two educators to new positions within the school system.

Rollan Moore was appointed principal of Acadian Middle School. Tia LeBrun has been appointed as World Language Specialist.

Moore previously served as the Substitute Employee Management System Operator in Human Resources at LPSS. He previously served as assistant principal at Alice Boucher Elementary and at Lafayette Middle School, earlier this year.

Moore earned a general studies bachelor’s degree from UL Lafayette in 2009, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from UL Monroe. He is currently working on earning a doctorate in educational leadership from UL Monroe.

LeBrun has served as a French teacher in Calcasieu Parish since 2004 while also serving as regional representative for the Louisiana Foreign Language Association.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from LSU in 2004. In 2012 she earned a master’s in Special education from UNO. She has recently received her educational leadership certificate from Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
