Lafayette Police have arrested the man they believe is responsible for nine robberies in Lafayette.

Officers were working a robbery operation in the 600 block of East Kaliste Saloom on Friday night when they say they saw 25-year-old Keiwayttan Turner pacing near a convenience store in that area.

Police then say Turner covered his face and pulled out a handgun as he went to the entrance of the convenience store.

Police arrested Turner before he went into the store.  Detectives then executed a search warrant at Turner's home.
