One Taco Bell employee is currently searching for another job after he was fired for refusing to serve two Sheriff Deputies.

WBRZ reports that the uniformed deputies were told by the cashier Saturday night in Phenix City, Alabama that they wouldn't be served and they needed to leave the restaurant.

Taco Bell spokeswoman Laura Nedbal released a statement saying the employee has been fired, and that "Taco Bell does not endorse the employee's sentiment."

The franchise owner has also personally apologized to the Sheriff's office.
