Elizabeth Smart, who survived being kidnapped and raped at the age of 14 in 2002, came to the Hub City on Thursday to share her story and to "be that voice" to other sexual abuse survivors.
Elizabeth Smart will be the guest speaker at Hearts of Hope fundraiser on May 2. Smart's kipnapping made national headlines and she has since become an advocate for change related to child abduction, recovery programs and national legislation.
