It looks like we'll be getting more of the mud over the next few days as another storm system is <a href="http://water.weather.gov/precip/">expected to dump from 3-6 inches of rainfall</a> on the area between midday Tuesday and early Thursday morning.</p>

The fact is <a href="http://www.lgs.lsu.edu/deploy/uploads/7earthquakes.pdf">we do have earthquakes </a>in Louisiana. There was a 3.8 magnitude earthquake in 1983 that was centered near Lake Charles. There was also a stronger quake that affected our state in 1930. So what are the chances of "the big one" hitting in Louisiana?</p>
