Let Friends of Palmetto Island cook Sunday lunch for you and your family on Sunday, September 7! All proceeds benefit Friends of Palmetto Island, a group that supports the park.

Cory Guidry, a Lafayette man, is in need of a stem cell transplant, and his family is raising money to help take care of his children while undergoing treatment.

The 3rd Annual Louisiana J.A.M. will bring together some well-known musical acts Saturday, May 11, all to help raise money for the Affiliated Blind of Louisiana, Inc. in Lafayette.

Elizabeth Smart will be the guest speaker at Hearts of Hope fundraiser on May 2. Smart's kipnapping made national headlines and she has since become an advocate for change related to child abduction, recovery programs and national legislation.

Neil Carret of Carencro has been selected as as the Marine Bass Angler of the Year, entitling him to an all-expenses paid trip to the Bassmasters Classic in Tulsa , Oklahoma.

Our friends at Courtesy Ford Lincoln in Breaux Bridge are hosting a local Drive Smart For Your School test-drive program to raise funds for Cecilia High School. Ford Motor Company developed this program in 2007 to connect dealers with their local community efforts by raising up to $6,000 for high schools in a single day test-drive event.
