It will be a bittersweet homecoming when the Lafayette Little League team returns from the Little League World Series in South Williamsport Pennsylvania. After spotting the team from Pearland, Texas a 5 run read the bayou crew came roaring back to not only tie the game, but win in extra innings.
We here at 97.3 The Dawg have been proud to be included in the ongoing journey of Lafayette's Little League All-Star team this year. So far the journey has brought all of us within one game of the holy grail of Little League, Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Should Lafayette take care of it's business againt Texas East (Pearland, Texas) then our "bayou crew" will be on a stage where the entire world is watching.
