There’s just something about NFL football that makes us want to slap on some war paint, throw back some beers and make drunken messes of ourselves. Some fans are clearly more into this than others and it’s those hardcore sports nuts that we all get our inspiration from.
Cheerleaders, dance team, song girls, pep squad. Whatever you want to call them, these glittery similarly dressed females have been elusive figures of college ambition since their inception. Many brave men have tried and failed in their quest for pom pom glory.
One of the more controversial aspects of lightning rod Denver Broncos quarterback QB Tim Tebow is the way he outwardly prays during games, and always credits Jesus for Broncos victories in post-game interviews.
As if you needed another reason to grab a bag of chips and tune into the Super Bowl, it was just announced that country music’s hottest couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will be opening up the big game with a duet performance, making the game of the year even more worthwhile for country music fans.

January 5, 2012 It is NFL playoff weekend and that means it's time to start thinking about who the New Orleans Saints will be playing in the Superbowl. That also means it is time to begin thinking about the real reason a lot of people watch the Superbowl, the commercials.
The Giants beat the Cowboys to win the NFC East, while the Bengals and Broncos lost, but received help from other teams to slip into the last remaining AFC playoff spots. The playoffs are scheduled to begin next Saturday, when Cincinnati travels to Houston and New Orleans hosts Detroit. On Sunday, Atlanta travels to New York, while Denver hosts Pittsburgh. Here’s a recap of all of the action from the NFL schedule in Week 17:
It’s the final week of the NFL’s 2011 regular season and only three playoff spots remain: the AFC West and NFC East titles and an AFC wild card berth. The AFC North is Baltimore’s to lose, but both the Ravens and the rival Pittsburgh Steelers have already qualified for the playoffs. Each game this week is a divisional rematch.
