Former KATC Anchor Bill Leger Dies at 48

Bill Leger, who in the late 1980s and early 1990 anchored and reported for KATC TV-3, died last night in a car crash on LA 93 north of Scott. He was 48. Before there were 24 hour gymnasiums and the Biggest Loser, there was Jack LaLanne. I remember as a small child he came into my living room via television and showed us all how to stay in shape. We always SAT on the couch and watched. Little did I know then that that physical motion and wonderful products like liquid protein would be the key to a much healthier lifestyle for me as I have gotten older. I remember he always had a really cool German Shepard dog too. Even the dog got more exercise than me, alas Jack LaLanne has died.
