Since Kix Brooks is in town tonight playing Cypress Bayou Casino in Charenton, I got the envie for some good old Brooks & Dunn music. While I'm sure Kix is going to do some of the old stuff tonight at the show, we can't bring back he and Ronnie Dunn as a duo anytime soon.

Ronnie Dunn made quite a lasting impression at his ‘Green Nights’ benefit concert Saturday night at Nashville’s historic Franklin Theatre. Halfway through the Brooks and Dunn hit ‘Ain’t Nothin’ ‘Bout You,’ Dunn and his fans were interrupted by the blaring of the venue’s fire alarms. Though the country star and his band finished their song, they did heed the warning to exit the stage until the venue could be deemed safe and fireless.

The scene of the World Series shifted from the chill of St. Louis to the much warmer confines of Texas last night. For Game 3 of the Fall Classic between the Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals, country crooner Ronnie Dunn was called upon to sing he National Anthem, completing the trifecta of country artists singing the song for the first three World Series games.
