By now you've probably heard that the NFL came down hard on the New Orleans Saints due to "Bounty Gate". Head coach Sean Payton was suspended for the entire 2012 season. Former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was canned indefinitely along with current assistant coach Joe Vitt who was suspended for 6 games. The team was also fined $500,000 and had two 2nd round picks yanked from them.
It is a battle of 13 win teams Saturday as the Saints take on the 49ers in San Francisco.
At Saints camp this week, the Black and Gold were quick to point out that they respect the 49ers, especially their defense. San Fran is tops in the NFL in stopping the run and tops in the NFL in takeaways.

Detroit currently is on the outside looking in and reeling, as the 7th seed losing out in a tie-breaker with Atlanta who beat the Lions earlier in the season.
