Residents of one New Orleans neighborhood have a new tourist attraction. Not really, they have a hole in their road and no water thanks to a busted pipe.
People are concerned about a sinkhole on Royal St. in the French Quarter, and for good reason. The Royal St. sinkhole seems to gradually be getting bigger.
While the sink hole has stabilized considerably officials continue to monitor the area for subtle changes that could signify a more dramatic change in conditions around the affected area.
It is thought that money from the settlement could be in the hands of those affected by the sinkhole as early as December of this year of January of 2015. .
