After experiencing the terror, confusion, and sadness of last Saturday night’s stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair, the members of Sugarland are understandably shaken up. And while their tour continues, the band’s thoughts and prayers remain with the victims and their families.
In a heartfelt open letter posted on their website, Sugarland addressed the incident, trying to put their feelings into words and explaining their plans to honor those who died while continuing to sort out the events that led to the collapse.
August 14, 2011 "We are all right. We are praying for our fans, and the people of Indianapolis. We hope you'll join us. They need your strength," That was the message the band Sugarland tweeted after last night's horrific events at the Indiana State Fair.
Who doesn’t love when their favorite singers cover a popular ’80s song? Last week, country duo Sugarland and singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles performed ‘Come On Eileen,’ as part of their show at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles.
Bareilles is currently touring with Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, who make up the bubbly country duo.
March 23, 2011 Sugarland and Little Big Town are currently on tour together. The two acts actually toured together a couple of years ago and had a tradition of ending the night by covering some wickedly awesome 80s song. Well, they're back at it again. Except this time they're only doing Madonna's "Like a Prayer". Good times!
