Sure we have the freedom to pursue happiness, liberty and the quality of life we desire. That also means we have to put up with other people who are pursuing their own happiness and sometimes their happiness is just a little on the strange side. Thank goodness we have people like Maury Povich, Tyra Banks, Jerry Springer and others who have brought into our living room some of the most "amazing" Americans we could ever hope to meet.
