March 12, 2012 Last night on the OWN Network, Oprah interviewed Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston's 19-year-old daughter. The only child of Whitney and Bobby Brown talked about how she's holding up following her mother's sudden death last month.
Ever since we first met Skylar Laine, her ‘American Idol‘ performances have exploded like rock-infused country music firecrackers. She stomps around the stage, with a spring in her step and a twang in her voice like a mini Reba. While we love when she does her thang, it was time for us to see and hear something different and new from her.
In a new statement made Monday (Feb. 13), Dolly Parton emphasized once again just how deeply saddened she is by the tragic and sudden death of pop superstar Whitney Houston, who died Saturday in a Beverly Hills hotel room. Parton seems to have felt a special connection with the soaring songstress, especially since they shared the hit ‘I Will Always Love You,’ a song Parton wrote and performed in 1974. Houston then brought the git to girls across the globe, who sang it into their hairbrushes after 1992, trying to mimic the astounding runs and unbelievable high notes of the talent.
We have confirmed that singer Whitney Houston drowned in her bathtub. Also, the singer was taking Xanax before her death. Her body was discovered on February 11th.
