Tanya Tucker Hospitalized After Suffering Respiratory Infection

Country Music icon Tanya Tucker has been hospitalized after suffering from an upper respiratory infection. Reports say she has been diagnosed with pneumonia.

Tucker fell ill before her show in South Dakota, and was treated by local doctors before heading back to Nashville.

She has had to cancel 6 shows as a result.

Tucker released this statement through her publicist -

I cannot apologize enough to all the fans who bought tickets and were looking forward to seeing us on the road. I just feel terrible, but I’ll get even worse if I don’t take care of myself. I love you all.
