Taylor Swift Announces On Tumblr Her Mother Has Been Diagnosed With Cancer

Taylor Swift announced some sad and personal news this morning via her Tumblr page. Swift announced her mother has been diagnosed with cancer.

She did not reveal what type of cancer her mom has been diagnosed with.

Taylor's mom wanted her to share the information to hopefully inspire other people to go get a check-up. As Swift explains in the post below, for Christmas all she told her mom she wanted was for her to go get a routine check-up.
