LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) — School system officials have completed their investigation into an incident at J.W. Faulk Elementary in which students were apparently glued to their desks.

Officials determined the teacher was at fault, and “appropriate” disciplinary action has been administered, according to a statement for the school system.

No more details regarding the incident would be released because it is a personnel issue, the statement read.

The students were evidently told to sit in their seats covered with Elmer’s glue after a warning that they should be seated, officials said.
