Terryn’s Essentials When Moving Into Your Own Place

Are you in the process of moving out on your own? Do you remember when you made the move for the very first time? Well, I just recently moved into my own place and I am still going crazy with the moving process.

Although I have never been on my own before now, there are a few items that I knew I had to have at my apartment that I just couldn't go without. They are essential to my every day life, as well as the well being of others.

First and most importantly, I must have a coffee pot. I am not a pleasant person in the morning without at least one cup of coffee and I will not be a pleasant person all day. I've been titled 'grouch' without my cup of morning coffee.

The next essential would be my magnalite pot. I love to cook and would be lost without it.

With that being said, I will need my rice cooker as well.

As an avid wine drinker, a wine bottle opener is a must have. I don't drink box wine so there is no escaping the need.

I think that all of the other usual necessities speak for themselves. I am a diva when it comes to my clothes and shoes. I am also in the process of making the apartment feel more like home. I like decorating and having everything in its place.

I know that right now there are a ton of college students moving away from home and finding places of their own. I didn't move out in college, but moving now is just as scary. The transition can be tough, but it is most definitely a beautiful journey if you allow it to be.
