Texting & Driving Now Included In Drivers Test [Video]

So many people have tragically died or been seriously injured because of mobile phone usage while driving. The amount of lives lost to texting and driving has skyrocketed especially among younger drivers. One country seeks to put an end this senseless waste of life by requiring new drivers to demonstrate to the testing officer that they can in fact safely text and drive. If they can't prove they can perform this action behind the wheel, they do not get a license to drive.

Okay now that I have made you mad I can tell you this is all a load of crap, but it does illustrate to young drivers that they do not have the ability to text and drive. I wish all young drivers could be put through this kind of scrutiny before they hit the streets. Actually all of us need this kind of reminder that we aren't bullet proof and the innocent victims on the road with us do not need to be subjected to our stupidity.
