What you are about to read may be a bit surprising. It has to do with how much it costs to feed your family for Thanksgiving this year and the price is amazingly low.

The American Farm Bureau Federation releases a study around this time every year where they calculate how much it should cost to serve Thanksgiving dinner. And their results always seem a bit low.

This year is no exception. The price is actually down a tad from last year.

According to the study, it should cost only $49.87 to serve Thanksgiving for 10 people next week. That's less than $5 per person and down 1% from last year.

Their feast includes: a 16-pound turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls, peas, cranberries, carrots and celery, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, coffee and milk.

I wonder how much we pay for a good Cajun Thanksgiving dinner? What-with-all the cost of turducken thsese days!
