That Time I Flew an Airplane [Video]

I'll be honest, I'm not the most comfortable with flying. But in the same breath, I love it!

So when Bruce and I were approached with the opportunity to go up and fly with the good folks at Owens Flight Training in New Iberia, we jumped on it.

And what an experience it was. Flight instructor Ryan Owens took us through the same process that he would with any potential pilot. And that meant actually flying the plane on the first flight!

The video above shows you just a glimpse of what you'll get to experience if you give it a try. The Discovery Flight takes you on a short flight to introduce you to the plane, the airport and the thrills of taking over the controls of a Cessna aircraft.
