The University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Krewe de Roux Parade will roll on today at 4 pm. The student-organized parade has been a tradition for more than 25 years! This kind of Mardi Gras fun just makes UL even more awesome.

A big thanks to the University Program Council for always sponsoring the big parade. The Krewe de Roux will roll down Rex Street toward St. Mary Boulevard, turning right onto St. Mary, then left onto Hebrard Boulevard before stopping at Vermilion Hall.

The general public is more than welcome to watch the wonderful parade. Royalty, students, and members of the organization will be participating in the parade. Beads, doubloons, candy, plastic cups and other small items will be thrown.

No alcoholic beverages or glass containers are allowed in the parade or among spectators. Following the parade, king cake will be served in the green space outside Vermilion Hall. See y'all today at the Krewe de Roux Mardi Gras Parade!
