“The Lafayette Food Junkie Show” Gets Second National Award Nomination

"The Lafayette Food Junkie Show" with Tiffiany Decou may only be two years old, but it's now also a two-time nominee for The Taste Awards.

According to organizers, the national award competition honors achievements in Food, Fashion, Home and Lifestyle programs on Television, in Film, Online, on Radio and at Live Interactive Events.

The 7th Annual Taste Awards will feature the best of the best and showcases some of the biggest names in the lifestyle programming industry. The Lafayette Food Junkie is nominated for BEST CRITIC OR REVIEW SERIES alongside shows such as THE CHEW and LARRY KING NOW (full list of nominees below). It's the second year the show, hosted by Tiffiany Decou, has been given a nod for the show that explores Acadiana culture in cooking. Decou has perfected the art of tasting and explaining how food helps make up the fabric of the area. She invites many of the areas biggest names in the restaurant world to the KPEL studio weekly.

"The Lafayette Food Junkie Show" can be heard on Newstalk 96.5 KPEL on Sunday evenings from 6-7 PM.
