Tropical Storm Andrea is still pushing toward the Florida coastline with winds of 60mph this morning. The forecast track moves Andrea toward a relatively unpopulated area of northern Florida between Apalachicola and Tampa. Severe weather is expected over central and southern Florida today along with very heavy rains.

Coastal flooding will be possible along the western Florida coast from Naples to the Big Bend area. The Florida panhandle will see minimal rains and lower tides, although rough waves and rip currents will be likely along the beach areas between Panama City and Pensacola.

Minimal effects on Louisiana weather with Andrea, except for some rough seas well offshore of the mouth of the Mississippi.
