We live in a beautiful state - big cities and small towns alike. Some are famous for being 'quaint', but they all have their charms. Our friends at Only in Louisiana have rounded up some of the most picture perfect towns here in the Bayou State, and several of them are right here in Acadiana. I'm a big believer that every place has it's own charms, but they have listed the following communities, and deemed them 'Picture Perfect' - and I have to agree! Feel free to tell us about your favorite small towns and communities in Louisiana that are 'perfect' for you.

Abita Springs - Art community, and they make great beer too!

St Martinville -  The annual Pepper Festival is one of the hottest events around

St Francisville - Home of the most haunted house in America - the Myrtles Plantation

Grand Isle - well, we ARE the Sportsman's Paradise

Breaux Bridge - Crawfish Capital of the World

Natchitoches - Home of the annual Christmas Festival of Lights, featured in films and tv

Minden - celebrates their unique German heritage with festivals, food, and art

Leesville - unique Louisiana architecture, including the Vernon Parish Courthouse

Ville Platte - Home of delicious Cajun food, and Jack Miller's BBQ Sauce

Winnsboro - Franklin Parish Catfish Festival, and Patriot Square make this one of the coolest little towns in Louisiana
