Television season is in full swing (although it probably never stops now with streaming services like Netflix and Hulu) and people are hitting their sofas to check out their favorite shows.

Popular shows like Modern FamilyGame of Thrones, and Stranger Things are hits nationwide, but there are some regions where certain shows receive a little more love than others.

CableTV.com decided to do a little research to see which shows are uniquely popular in each state. They checked out the top 200 shows on IMDB and cross-checked that with Google Trends for the last year to see which TV shows were the most statistically relevant in each state.

I have not personally seen or even heard of Queen Sugar. It is a drama series that airs on the OWN Network and the following is the synopsis of the show.

"Queen Sugar" tells the story of the estranged Bordelon siblings in Louisiana. At the center of the family are Nova, a journalist and activist; Charley, the wife and manager of an NBA player; and formerly incarcerated father Ralph Angel, who is searching for redemption. Following a tragedy in the family, the siblings must put their complicated lives aside so that they can come together to run the clan's struggling sugar cane farm. Also involved in the farm are Aunt Violet and family friend Remy Newell.
