We were discussing this morning on 'Bruce and The Kennel Club' the strange and interesting relationship between a woman and her shoes. It's not science... but it's certainly something to look further into.

Woman 1:  "OMG, I love your shoes! Super cute."
Woman 2:  "Thanks! Old Navy... $7."

Why do we feel the need to automatically say where we bought the shoes and for how much? I think we enjoy making other people feel "included." We want to make each other feel better and if there is a great deal, why not share it with the entire world?! A great pair of shoes has the power to make a woman feel more validated. That is why several of us feel the need to own multiple pairs.

Shoes have the ability to turn a lousy day into a great one. Yes, it sounds crazy, but it's true. Picture yourself feeling down in the dumps, walking through Macy's or Dillard's, and discovering a shoe sale with everything up to 50% off. Now, how do you feel?

Guys don't understand and probably won't ever; however, our shoes are like their 8 pound bass or great golf game. It positively affects our psyche. So, next time your man comes home raving about his 10-point buck, new truck tires, or nothing-but-net basketball shot, just remember how your shoes make you feel.
