Thibodaux Council To Consider Saggy Pants Law

Ya better get yourself a belt,  because saggy pants might soon become illegal Thibodaux!

From KATC :

"The Courier reports the council is considering an ordinance that parallels the rules and penalties already in place in Lafourche and Terrebonne. It would amend the city's existing indecent exposure law to include "pants that sag below the waist and expose undergarments."

Saggy pants violators would pay $50 for a first offense, $100 for a second offense and $100 and 16 hours of community service for a third offense.
