Country superstars Faith Hill and hubby Tim McGraw performed Saturday during the opening weekend of their limited-engagement "Soul2Soul" show at The Venetian in Las Vegas. The country music couple will perform for 10 weekends through April 2013. I was at the show and it was fantastic!

Having been to many many Tim McGraw and Faith Hill shows, it was obvious from the get go that this was not your usual country audience, or concert. First of all, Tim was wearing a suit! Looking good, but not his usual concert attire. They also opened the show by coming out on the side doors of the huge theater that was previously home to 'Phantom' at the Venetian, so that they were singing IN the audience as they were making their way to the stage. I tell you this because Tim McGraw was RIGHT IN FRONT of my face. Awesome!

They sang together and alone, and even at one point came out and sat on stage to talk to the audience about their early influences. It was really really fun, but completely different from any other show I had ever been to. They played for about 90 minutes, and it was obvious the audience adored them - especially since the National Finals Rodeo is going on in Vegas, and there were a lot of cowboy hats in attendance! Tim even took off his guitar, autographed it, and gave it to a little girl in the audience. Sha!

If you get a chance to see them at their limited engagement at The Venetian..go!

Oh, and PS...rumor has it that Bruce Springsteen and Tom Hanks were in the audience...now THAT'S street cred!
