Chernobyls reactor No.4 exploded on April26, 1986 , spewing radiation over a large swath of northern Europe. Hundreds of thousands of people were resettled from areas contaminated with radiation fallout in Ukraine , Belarus and Russia. Related health problems still persist.

I am sure there are some really good reasons to visit a shuttered nuclear facility, although I can't think of any at the present moment. If you can, well read on my friend and send me a post card, on second thought...Don't!
