Today Is The Last Day For Louisiana Voters To Register For Nov. 4th Election

If you want your opinion duly noted in the November 4th election you need to make sure you are registered to vote. The deadline for registering to be included as a voting participant in that election is today.

This deadline is for Louisiana residents who have never registered to vote before or for those wishing to make a change in their voter registration information.

Louisiana's Secretary of State Tom Schedler says the November 4th election will be a very important election for the future of Louisiana.

"We have the huge US Senate race which some political pundits are saying could be the deciding vote on the Senate.Statewide over 2400 positions and issues on the ballot, over 4400 candidates,We've never had anything like that in the last decade or so."

Schedler's comments were reported by the Louisiana Radio Network.

Those wishing to register on line may use the Secretary of State's website to do so. It is estimated that some 30-thousand new voters will be participating in this upcoming election.
