Summer solstice 2018 is today, the longest day of the year. With as late as it seems the Sun has been setting, we haven't seen nuthin' yet. Here's what to expect locally...

Summer officially starts with the summer solstice. During the summer solstice, the sun seems to stand still as it reaches its highest point, before moving off toward the horizon.

Because of this, locally we can expect roughly about 14 hours of sunlight today. The sun rose this morning at approximately 6:06 am and won't stop the party until around 8:12 pm when the Sun begins to set.
