Tracy Wirtz Is Preparing Herself For The Christmas Season [PICTURES]

I'm usually one of those people who are incensed by the Christmas merchandise being out before Halloween is even here. But, this year, I have a confession to make. The day after Halloween, I had a particularly strong urged to climb the attic ladder and start pulling out my snow village.

It's crazy, I tell you! Every year, I put up my Christmas tree and decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving. We usually go all out. We decorate an enormous (not real) tree, put lights and music makers and blow-up stuff outside, snow village, decorations all over the house.

A couple of years, we even had TWO trees. My family loves Christmas. But never before Thanksgiving. So here I sit like a dog staring at a juicy steak, all twitchy and anxious, ready to light 'em up! Reading Facebook posts, I can see I'm not the only one. Maybe THAT'S what did it. Maybe it's not my fault at all! Anyway, I can't do it. Not yet. So I'm trying to calm the itching, twitching inner wanna-be decorator (who isn't very good at it, by the way) by looking online for some ideas. And there are plenty out there.
