The threat of a land falling tropical system along the Northern Gulf Coast has appeared to have fizzled out. Tropical Storm Ernesto now appears headed for Mexico. Tropical Storm Florence is weakening in the Tropical Atlantic.

The latest information from the National Hurricane Center in Miami projects Ernesto to pass just north of Honduras and eventually make landfall near the border of Belize and Mexico.

Tropical Storm Florence has encountered some adverse atmospheric conditions and has weakened this morning. We will continue to monitor these two systems even though the current guidance suggest there should be no effects from either of these.
